This Section will be for Notices of Updates, New Resources and whatever seems of interest to visiting Researchers.
For Instance: FS has a marvelous section of their Site entitled "Images" ~ These are resources [films] that have not been indexed and incorporated into their Catalog. For St Louis County, there are 4836 Sets of Images for 59 St Louis County Locations. An awesome collection of resources: To access the Images, use the 'View Site' link below: You will need to log in. Here is a link with all of the Counties and the # of Films.
"What's New: Full-Text Search"
FamilySearch Function
which will search multiple filmed images on their servers.
People ~
Places ~ Events: Almost any topic imagined! Especially great are the
Newspaper Articles.
The results can be saved as images or pdf files
along with the Citation.
When the results come up, there is a OCR
generated panel of text which can be copied to a file or your Gen
Software.
